Director + Executive Producer
Geraldine Frater-Wyeth is a specialist producer with extensive experience in both event management and runway production of high profile events in Australia and Internationally.
Living in Europe for several years she worked for London’s top charity and fundraising event organiser Dora Loewenstein Associates who’s clients include Madonna, Mick Jagger, The Hon. Daphne Guinness, Prada and Gucci. As Event Manager, Geraldine’s role entailed liaison between London and New York for the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival and their annual Gala Dinner at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A).
Upon her return to Australia in 2006, Geraldine managed the Village at Barossa Under the Stars featuring Michael Crawford and continued her MBA at Curtain University where she was commissioned by the Department of Culture and Arts to review the Perth Fashion Festival.
In 2010, Geraldine worked at Paris Fashion Week with renowned Australian Designer Akira Isogawa and produced shows for both L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival and Melbourne Spring Fashion Week before establishing Event Gallery Pty.
In 2013, Geraldine founded Runway Production School with the support of the TFIA and in 2014 co-founded the Royal Botanic Runway with David Sheldermine, an inaugural fundraising event for the Melbourne Royal Botanic Gardens – alongside iconic Australian designers, Akira Isogawa, Aurelio Costeralla, Colette Dinnigan and Martin Grant.
In 2015 Geraldine assisted in the direct negotiation of a 5-year contract with the Royal Exhibition Building on behalf of the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival for the relocation of its Festival and Runways.
Geraldine produces over 40 runways shows each year and is involved in all aspects of creative and technical delivery. Her involvement varies from designer programming, choreography, lighting direction, show calling, model casting and overseeing all runway production teams.
Fashion + Events Manager
Ebony Hui completed her Associate degree in Fashion and Textile Merchandising in 2011 at RMIT. Whilst a student, Ebony worked with Australian designer Yeojin Bae, started working with Melbourne’s exclusive Salon Tea shows at Christine boutique, and began her on-going involvement with the iconic design house Chanel and their Australian Season Launches.
Ebony has worked with Event Gallery since 2012 on projects including the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival,TV series finale of Project Runway, Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, Adelaide Fashion Festival, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, Witchery Collection Launches, Air France Tribute Runway, Emporium Melbourne Launch. Adelaide Fashion Festival and Event Gallery’s self produced event The Royal Botanic Runway.
Ebony is currently the Fashion and Events Manager for Event Gallery.
Fashion + Events Coordinator
Jessica Jade is a multifaceted creative with experience in Design, Creative Direction, Styling,Visual Merchandising, Luxury Retail and Collection Management.
Jessica interned with Australian Designer Lui Hon, assisting with production and quality control exposing her to the Fashion Industry and opening the doorway to Fashion Events. Over the past 3 years Jessica Jade has been working within the events, fashion & arts sector gaining valuable skills across Art, Event & Fashion Runway Management. Whist working at Lumas Gallery since their launch 2 years ago Jessica has been responsible for Commercial Sales, in store events and client relationships.
Jessica has worked with Event Gallery since 2016 on projects including the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival, Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, Adelaide Fashion Festival and the Australian Open x Melbourne Fashion Festival Event.
Jenny has over 10 years experience working with models as a casting director and agent. Since 2007, Jenny has worked as an agent with the highly successful Chadwick Models. During this time she has been part of the team responsible for developing some of Australia’s most successful talent such as Andreja Pejic, Elodie Russell and Ashley Hart. Jenny is also involved in the annual Dolly Magazine Model Search and has built a wide and extensive list of local and international clients across all mediums.
Over the last 10 years, Jenny has worked in a casting role for other major shows and events such as VAMFF, Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, The Emporium Launch, Royal Botanic Runway and Mimco. Jenny also assisted as a Casting Manager, progressed to Casting Director for Melbourne Fashion Festival from 2007 and has maintained the position through Event Gallery. Working on this major event requires experience with a vast range of designers and retail brands whilst scheduling over 110 models across 430 individual bookings for the Festival.
In both her roles as casting director and agent, Jenny has developed experience working with Australia’s leading fashion brands, stylists, photographers, hair and make up artists, magazines, media publications, and productions teams. Jenny has built strong relationships with all agency’s in Australia and her production specialty lies in the casting, scheduling and management of models for shows and events.
Bringing more than a decades’ worth of event and project management experience within the private and public sectors, Event Gallery is pleased to welcome Susie Lunt to their team. With extensive experience in local government, Susie has provided strategic planning and operational expertise to City of Melbourne’s high profile event clients, including L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, Melbourne International Boat Show and Melbourne International Comedy Festival. During her time at City of Melbourne, Susie project managed Melbourne Music Week’s main festival hub, The Residence, one of the premier events on the city’s events calendar.
Susie has delivered various events and programs for both City of Boroondara and City of Port Phillip, including The Living For Our Future Sustainability Expo, and in 2010, project managed the fashion show for the Sustainable Living Festival at Federation Square.
In 2012, Susie Lunt co-founded the design and arts event, The Fine Design Market, and has most recently worked on events such as Audi Hamilton Island Race Week and So Frenchy So Chic In The Park. Susie has recently joined the Event Gallery team to work on the 2015 Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival.
Jenny Trontl is an event specialist with extensive international experience with some of the world’s biggest brands. In this role, Jenny was responsible for consumer, brand, corporate, sales and media events for NIKE across Europe, Middle-East and Africa.
During this time, Jenny managed some of NIKE’s biggest global and regional events, including media and corporate hospitality for NIKE at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, European sales conferences for 1,000+ people, and important global media launches such as NIKE’s 2010 World Cup Innovation Summit, and NIKE’s collaboration with global RED charity. During this time, Jenny worked with some of the world’s biggest event agencies, senior executives from NIKE, high profile athletes and global celebrities such as Bono from U2 and world renowned DJ Calvin Harris.
Jenny has worked with our team over the past 3 years and works with leading brands, businesses and organisations across Australia. In 2015 Jenny returned from Europe to join the Event Gallery team on the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival.
Kristina has been in the fashion industry for over 13 years and focused her interest towards Project Managing and Producing fashion shows 9 years ago. Kristina started at Sydney Fashion Week for 3 years and then moved to Melbourne where she was contracted by Event Gallery for 3 years working on the National Graduate Showcase and the highly acclaimed Runway with Dita Von Teese to launch her lingerie line with Target.
Kristina then moved to New York for 3 years where she was a Producer for TVC’s and Short Films. Upon her recent return to Melbourne she has re-joined the Event Gallery team to work on Melbourne Fashion Festival.
Kristina will be Producing the National Graduate Showcase, Designer for Target and also Discovery Runway presented by I.D. Magazine for VAMFF 2016.
With 25 years of experience in producing and managing quality events, Sherridan has worked with an array of high-profile clients, including the Arts Centre Melbourne, Queensland Performing Arts Trust, Sydney Festival, Royal Agricultural Society Sydney, The Sydney City Council, Melbourne International Arts Festival, City of Melbourne Arts and Culture Department, City of Port Phillip Arts and Culture Department and many community-based organisations and independent companies.
Sherridan has been involved in thirteen Melbourne Fashion Festivals since 2003, and as Business Events Project Manager since 2006, she managed all events at the Melbourne Sofitel Hotel, including the Business Seminar, Herald Sun Marketing Breakfast and L’Oreal Paris and Marie Claire Beauty Workshops.
Logistics and Event Coordinator
Over the past 6 years Jack Streefkerk has been working within the event sector and gained valuable skills and qualifications working on such festivals as The Garden of Unearthly Delights, Melbourne International Film Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival as well as the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival.
Having completed his double degree of Sport and Recreation / Business: Event Management he has been able to work with several different event management companies and worked on the AFL Grand Final, Committee of Melbourne Dinner, Arnold Schwarzenegger Business lunch and Olivia Newton John Foundation events, alongside many Not-for-Profit organisations.
Jack has recently been appointed the role of Logistics and Event Coordinator for the 2017 Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival.
